There are reports that a number of international human rights organizations are looking into Trump’s policy of separating children from their parents. A policy made even more egregious by the lack of a system to unite the children with their parents on the other side of the legal process.
Think about that for a moment. The international community is scrutinizing OUR human rights policies. How much lower can we go?
Trump and his followers are obviously concerned about the “browning” of our country and are willing to go to extreme measures to keep people form “s…hole” countries from “infesting” our shores. I’m concerned about the moral rot that allows a policy like this to even be considered much less implemented.
Outrage from the masses forced Trump to back down and take steps toward ending this self-inflicted atrocity.
Maybe there is hope for us yet.
